1. Information Collection and Use

JestBoo is designed from the ground up to maximize user privacy. Here is how we handle different types of information:

1.1 Bookkeeping and Financial Data

All amounts, categories, notes, goals, and plans you record in the App are stored only within your device's local sandbox. We cannot access this data, nor do we transmit it to any external servers.

1.2 Personally Identifiable Information

The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address (unless you contact us for support), phone number, or social media information.

1.3 Payment Information

All In-App Purchases (IAP) are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not directly handle or store your credit card numbers, payment accounts, or other financial settlement information. Apple only confirms to us whether a purchase was successful to unlock the corresponding features.

2. Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected by iOS system security mechanisms. Since the data exists only locally:

• Data Isolation: Your data is stored in the App's protected private directory, inaccessible to other apps.
• Backup: The security of your data depends on your system-level backup plan (such as iCloud backup or iTunes backup). Your local data will be included in system backups.
• Deletion: When you uninstall JestBoo, all local data stored on the device will be immediately deleted according to iOS system rules and cannot be recovered.

3. App Permissions

To provide core functionality, JestBoo may request the following permissions:

• Network Permission: Only used to process In-App Purchase requests and verify purchase status with Apple servers.
• Photo Library Permission: Only used for you to select and add local images as attachments when recording; the App will not upload your photos.
• FaceID/TouchID: Only used for the security lock function when the App starts. Biometric data is managed by system hardware, and the App cannot access the raw data.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Used for processing In-App Purchases. Its privacy practices are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

5. Global Compliance and User Rights

Since JestBoo does not collect personal information, we automatically comply with the requirements of several global privacy regulations:

• Access and Deletion Rights: You have full control over your data and can modify it within the App at any time or destroy all data by deleting the App.
• GDPR (EU/UK): We do not process any personal data as a data controller; you are the sole controller of your own data.
• CCPA (California, USA): We do not engage in any form of data selling or sharing.

6. Children's Privacy

JestBoo does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. As the App runs offline and does not require registration, we do not have the technical means to identify the age of users. We encourage parents to supervise their children's use of mobile apps.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be informed by updating this page within the App. We recommend that you check this page periodically for the latest privacy protection practices.
